Rules of Conduct

  • The students should strictly obey the instructions given by the Principal and Teacher from time to time.

  • The students should carry an identity card with them regularly and it should be produced if demanded by authority of the college.

  • Students should be regular and punctual in attending the classes and practical’s.

  • The students are required to submit their assignments in the time failing which they shall be subjected to disciplinary action.

  • The college expects 100% attendance for the theory & practical sessions. Some relaxation is possible to extend of 10% on valid grounds and with prior permission of the Principal. However in no case the attendance should be less than 75% (2015 pattern) & 80% (2018 pattern) separately for theory and practical’s otherwise they shall be detained from appearing for University exams.

  • The students will not be allowed to appear for Sessional examinations if they fail to maintain 75% (2015 pattern) & 80% (2018 pattern) attendance in each theory & practical separately. This attendance will be calculated from day one i.e. opening date of the college. No excuses of any sort will be entertained.

  • The attendance for the Sessional of theory & practical’s conducted by the college is compulsory.

  • Ragging in any form within or outside the college and hostels is totally banned. When brought to the notice, defaulter will be summarily expelled from the college and punishable as per Maharashtra Anti-Ragging Act 1999.

  • If the students are found weak in certain subjects they will have to submit extra assignments as notified and make the required progress to come at par with the other students.

  • Ragging in any form within or outside the college and hostels is totally banned. When brought to the notice, defaulter will be summarily expelled from the college and punishable as per Maharashtra Anti-Ragging Act 1999.

  • First week formalities: (For newly admitted students)

  • Students shall fill up enrollment for/ eligibility form as per the schedule notified after completion of admission process.

  • Student shall collect identity cards from office.

  • Students will have to undergo medical examination as per University procedure

  • Attendance for the guest lecture is compulsory for all students with prior instructions.

  • In case of bon-a-fide reason, the college authority should be informed well in advance about probable absentee with a mandatory condition to maintaining minimum 75% (2015 pattern) & 80% (2018 pattern)attendance.

  • No student shall come late or leave earlier during Theory and Practical hours and must follow the academic time table.

  • Every student shall have one allotted class teacher to resolve academic / personal problems.

  • Prescribed books and syllabus are available in the library, being issued in the students name after entry in to issue card.

  • All students should understand the college Vision, Mission and Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) with help of teachers.

  • Students are advised to have a look over the respective Notice Boards on daily basis.

  • Use of cell/mobile phone in the college premises is strictly prohibited.

  • Students have to wear aprons during college hours in premises.

  • Students are neither allowed to sit on the steps, fence walls or loiter in the corridors. Loud talking near and around the library, staff room and passage shall be punishable.

  • Discarding papers and similar materials in the campus or corridor is strictly prohibited. The rules for disposal of waste papers and used chemicals are laid own which must be strictly followed.

  • Unless Journal is completed for the earlier exercise he/she will not be allowed in the practical laboratory.

Modalities of Examination :

  • There will be two Sessional examinations for the continuous evaluation of the students, conducted during the academic year for theory as well as practical.

  • The passing percentage for theory is 40% and for practical 45% (Aggregate Score should not less than 50%) as per University rules.

  • The academic performance/ attendance report of defaulter students may be communicated to parents.

  • Regarding pattern of examination for Continuous Assessment, Sessional examination & End semester Examination will be as per Savitribai Phule Pune University. However for more information and updates students may concern the College Examination department on timely basis.

  • Students with certified journals will only be eligible for practical examination.

  • Any kind of unfair means/copy case during practical/ theory examination is liable for punishment.
