Role of R&D Committee

This committee provides impetus to the research and development activities and to provide guidance, directions to the faculty research committee. It has representation from all departments.
Identify promising areas for growth. Maintain vibrancy of areas that are currently strong.

  • Develop and maintain close ties with industry and government to promote technical exchange and collaboration on projects with significant potential for future growth and value.

  • Develop a sense of community in which faculty, staff, and students can work together productively and grow personally and professionally.

  • Maintain excellence and encourage multidisciplinary research amongst faculty, students

  • Provides Review for proposals and appoint review committee and scrutiny committee.

  • Promote, by maintaining highest standards of academic integrity, interdisciplinary research, faculty entrepreneurship and formulate related policies

Duties and Functions of Committee :

  • Discussion regarding application for obtaining funds from different funding agencies like AICTE, DST, DBT, ICMR, AYUSH and BCUD Savitribai Phule Pune University.

  • Every year faculty members are motivated to fetch research funds for their respective research projects.

  • R & D cell promotes B. Pharm. and M. Pharm. students to participate in AVISHKAR research Scheme.

  • AVISHKAR research scheme is organized by Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune every year at University level, State Level and Inter University Level Research Projects.

  • Active participation of B. Pharm. and M. Pharm. students is enrolled by the R & D cell at State, National and International Level.

  • INSPIRE Research Scheme Project funding is applied by the Senior Faculty members under Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune started in the year 2018-19.
