B Pharm Admission Procedure

Admission to First Year B. Pharmacy is done through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra State Mumbai.
Merit for admission is decided based on the score in the MT-CET for Pharmacy to be conducted by DTE in the month of May every year. Notification regarding this will be published by the Maharashtra State Government in leading news papers and details of rules and regulations and dates of schedule shall be given in the brochure to be issued by DTE. The details for the same would be available at www.dte.org.in

Admission to First year B. Pharmacy shall be done under two stages :

Under CAP round three types of quota of seats will be allotted.
[I] Government Quota : 65%
[ii] Management Quota : 20%
[iii] AIEEE Quota : 15%
[b] Admission to seats falling vacant
after CAP rounds
Seats falling vacant after the CAP rounds are over, shall be allotted by the Head of the Institute through advertisement and after preparing the relative merit list of candidates applying for these vacant seats. The call for applications for these seats shall be advertised in National News paper of India.
Candidates should apply in the prescribed forms available at College office in response to the advertisement. The merit list shall be displayed on College notice board and the last date of reporting also shall be displayed. Candidates should report accordingly and take admission by paying the requisite fees and depositing necessary documents.

Eligibility criteria for Admission To Direct S.Y. B. Pharmacy

The candidate should have passed with 50% of aggregate in a post HSC Diploma course in Pharmacy as per ER-91 Regulations of PCI) from an Institution approved by AICTE from Maharashtra or outside Maharashtra State.


The candidates selected for admission should pay the fees under different heads and as prescribed by Shikshan Shulka Samiti from time to time. The exact time of the fees payable by the candidates will be notified at the time of admission. The different heads of fees are as follows:
* Tution Fees
* Library Fees
* Gymkhana, Student’s Welfare, Annual medical
checkup, Sport fees etc.
* Contribution to journals and catalogue, Study material * Computer Fees/Computer Laboratories Fees
* Placement activities
* Seminar, Workshops & Industrial Visits, Internal
* Development fees
Note : The examination fees will be as prescribed by Savitribai Phule Pune University at the respective time.

Registration Certificate

After Completion of this Course Student should apply with supporting documents to the Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council for the Registration Certificate.
